🌱 Seedlings Weekly Adventures: Counting, Creating & Exploring!

At Seedlings, every day is a numbers day! We count, play, and recognize numbers 1 through 9 all day long, and this week, each child picked their favourite number. Their special number even made a lunchtime appearance on their placemat, turning every meal into a mini math celebration.

Science time was cool, literally! Our little scientists explored the salt on ice string experiment, and the concentration on their faces was priceless (photos attached for maximum “aww” factor). In Phonics, we learned and sounded out Xx as in x-ray and Qu as in quack, complete with giggles, songs, stories and plenty of “quacking” practice.

We also hit the road for big adventures, exploring Uplands Park, Carnarvon, Craigdarroch Castle, and Government House—nature walks, history, and wide-eyed wonder all rolled into one. And of course, we made time for art—this week’s highlight was a bright, bold, and super fun 3D masterpiece that’s as unique as each of our Seedlings.

What a week of learning, laughter, and exploring the world together!
